Lauren S., M Ed, CT
Lauren leads our team of Mindoulas, works on select cases approved by the CEO, and serves as a liaison and partner with families.
Amy SW., M Ed, CRC
Amy provides case management services to members with psychiatric and/or complex medical disabilities, with an emphasis upon medical care management. She began working in the psychiatric rehabilitation field in 1998, and has extensive experience as an intake coordinator, supported employment specialist, residential counselor, and learning skills counselor. Amy earned her Master of Education in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling from The Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Amy also serves as Senior Manager, Operations & Administration for Mindoula.
Rebecca S., MA, CRC
Rebecca provides case management services to members with psychiatric illness and/or complex medical disabilities. She has served as a consultant and trainer for several non-profit supported employment programs, helping to improve their services by implementing evidence based practices, and supervised a team of counselors for the largest supported employment program in Maryland. Since 1998, Rebecca has worked in the areas of supported employment, rehabilitation counseling, supported education, and psychiatric rehabilitation. Rebecca holds a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Rebecca also serves as Senior Manager, Benefits for Mindoula.
Claire F., MA, MSW, LGSW, CEAP
Claire provides a range of case management services that includes collaborative care, custom case management, occupational rehabilitation, crisis intervention, and coaching. Claire has worked as a behavioral health specialist and psychiatric counselor for large hospital system, providing group therapy and individual counseling, assessing care and treatment options, arranging aftercare, and providing crisis intervention services and evaluations. She has also worked for five years at a community non-profit supporting people with both developmental disabilities and mental illness. Claire earned her Masters of Social Work Macro/Clinical/Mental Health/EAP at the University of Maryland, and her Masters of Science in Business Psychology from the University of Gloucestershire, and is a LGSW and CEAP candidate.
Duan D., MA CP
Duan provides case management services to members with behavioral health challenges ranging from mild-to-moderate anxiety and depression to serious mental illness. She has been working in the field of counseling psychiatry since 2009, and earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Jennifer M., B.A. SW
Jennifer brings to her work as a case manager more than fifteen years of experience providing support for behavioral health challenges and developmental disabilities at a community based nonprofit, where she served for the last 13 years as Program Director. As Program Director, she guided services for members in the areas of supported employment, individualized support for adults and children, and community based living assistance. She also gained extensive experience helping young adults, ages 14 - 26, transition into adulthood. Jennifer has a B.A. in Social Work from Salisbury University.
Justyn M., B.S.
Justyn brings to his work as a case manager a wide range of experience, including as a behavioral health Rehabilitation Counselor, Case Manager, Guidance Center Coordinator, and as a security officer, bellman, and a Petroleum Supply Coordinator and Combat Lifesaver in the United States Army as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Justyn received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University with a focus in Homeland Security and Rehabilitative Services, and is a member of the National Homeless Coalition, and the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice.
Alane M., BS CP
Alane serves members as a dedicated advocate, supporting them in achieving their mental health goals. She has years of experience as a case manager and care coordinator, and has a track record of success in enabling collaboration and care coordination among healthcare providers and ensuring continuity of care. Alane earned her Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Washington Adventist University in 1998.
Paige L., B.A.
Paige supports members in a variety of ways, including collaborative care, custom case management, and providing family support services. Page draws on her experience as a member of an online hotline, and as a case manager at Michigan’s leading Lutheran human care services organization. She is a dedicated advocate for the members she serves, and partners with members in completing assessments, and recovery plans.
Brad S., VAMC
Brad supports members in a variety of ways including collaborative care, custom case management, and crisis intervention. He partners with members in helping them address behavioral health challenges and achieve short term and long term goals. Brad often provides resource guidance and focuses on helping members improve existing supports and with decision-making during transitional periods.
Kathleen S., MA, MSW, LGSW
Kathleen serves as Progam Coordinator for Mindoula's post-discharge case management program at a leading community hospital in Maryland. She provides site-based case management coordination and serves as the liason between the inpatient psychiatry team and our team of Mindoulas. Kathleen earned her Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Maryland, and is a LGSW.
Marjorie R., MS CMHC, LGPC, NCC
Marjorie is a licensed graduate professional counselor at the Counseling Center of Maryland and a co-founder and practitioner at Spectrum Partners, where she provides psychotherapy to individuals and families. She has worked as a counselor with Adventist Behavioral Health and Fellowship Health Resources. In her role as a Mindoula, Marjorie helps integrate behavioral health treatment into the primary care setting, and brings her unique perspective as a practicing therapist to this process.
Sara K., CPSS
Sara is a peer support specialist providing virtual support to members around the clock. She has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Carlow University, with concentrations in grief counseling and art therapy. Sara is certified as a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Specialist and as a behavioral health Certified Peer Support Specialist.
Shaye F., CPSS
Shaye is a peer support specialist providing supplemental support to members. She is Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) certified, and uses this certification to help members overcome obstacles to achieve their life goals. Shaye has a B.S. in Communications / Broadcasting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and worked in the communications industry for 20 year before becoming a behavioral health Certified Peer Support Specialist.
